I've noticed that the main style of the forum is subsilver2. Support for this style is being withdrawn by the developers, what implications will that have for this forum?

Another forum I use has over a third of its members on subsilver2, they are going to be moved onto prosilver whether they like it or not!

It all depends on who maintains the platform

If they rely solely on PHP then they have little alternative.

I pay out a lot of money to ensure this forum is maintained independently of PHP

Cane they not make a request for a couple of suitable (prosilver compatable) alternatives?

Prosilver is okay but can be hard on your eyes (mine anyway)

I'm not sure, the guy runs about 10 forums so it's going to cost him a bit to upgrade all of them.

I do not see why he feels he needs to take them all over to pro/s if they are running fine and are already on 3.0.7

Seems unneccessary.

Surely the only cost will be his time unless he goes for paid themes?
